About The Event
The US and the UN: Steadfast and United for Peace Nations must be able to defend themselves, and the United States and its allies sometimes must act quickly, especially where and when the United Nations cannot enforce the peace as in Israel/Gaza and Ukraine. At the same time, the UN can serve people in crisis in areas and in ways the US often cannot, including in areas of conflict. While sometimes forced to act apart, the US and the UN are always stronger together.
